Overview:
The Systems Technician is responsible for all aspects of installation, maintenance and repair of residential technologies, including installing and servicing structured cabling, sound systems, video systems, security, networks and automation controllers.
Key Accountabilities:
- Installation of all types of audio, video and other limited energy systems.
- Performs service calls and documents, compiling client history and determining the appropriate approach.
- Knowledgeable with New construction wiring methods and WA State/NEC
- Applies technical knowledge of electronic principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment operations.
- Resolves systems problems by applying good customer service in a timely manner.
- Completely fills out and submits all client paperwork.
- Maintains a positive attitude and outlook at all times.
Skills and Qualifications:
A Technician candidate should possess good customer service skills, an attention to detail and the ability to multi task. In addition, the candidate must be able to take on tasks with very little supervision, exercise independent judgment in performing such tasks and complete them in a quick and efficient manner.
Install fulfillment will range from basic connectivity to fishing wires through walls for home theatre, security, automation, lighting control and other systems. All installations must meet the highest quality standards set forth by Genext, while assuring a professional and safe working environment.
All applicants will possess previous experience performing various electrical installations. You must have exceptional customer service skills in order to act as a company representative in our customers' homes and to act as a consultant while on jobsite.

Requirements:
- WA State 01, 03 or 06 Journeyman/Master Electrician Certification
- Applicant must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid State Drivers License with Clean Driving Record
- Drug Screening, Background Investigation and Bonding (May be required)
