Home Technology Sales

Overview:

A Home Technology Sales Representative is responsible for prospecting, generating and closing home technology sales. They work directly with home-owners as well as builders and developers to design and plan home technologies including: Security, Communications and Entertainment Systems and Services.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Sales and consulting on all types of audio, video and other limited energy systems.
  • Performs sales calls and documents, compiling client history and determining the appropriate approach.
  • Knowledgeable with new construction and development activities
  • Resolves issues by applying good customer service in a timely manner.
  • Completely fills out and submits all client paperwork.
  • Maintains a positive attitude and outlook at all times.

Skills and Qualifications:

A candidate should possess good customer service skills, an attention to detail and the ability to multi task. In addition, the candidate must be able to take on tasks with very little supervision, exercise independent judgment in performing such tasks and complete them in a quick and efficient manner.

You should possess formal solution selling skills and ability to close new business. Additional requirements include ability to meet a monthly quota, make cold calls, set-up and attend customer appointments and be able to work as a resource leader in an individual contributor role.

Requirements:
  • Applicant must be 21 years of age or older
  • Valid State Drivers License with Clean Driving Record
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3-5 Years of Direct Telecommunication Sales
  • Knowledge of Industry and Challenges and Opportunities
  • Drug Screening, Background Investigation and Bonding (May be required)
