It is Apple Blossom time and the seats have already started lining the walks of Orondo Street. Many eager families await the springtime celebration of our traditions and agricultural heritage. Everyone wants a front row ticket to the annual Grand Parade. This year's theme, "A Royal Celebration" is sure to bring out royalty of many generations both new and young.
As the hotels fill up with travelers flooding the town for a whirlwind weekend of fun; roughly 100,000 visitors from all over the Region will come to the Wenatchee Valley during the annual eleven-day celebration. The economic impact of the festival is great for area businesses, with visitors spending money on lodging, food, gasoline, souvenirs and entertainment, all benefiting our local economy.

Important E911 and 911 Information for Genext Voice Customers

At Genext, we take your safety and security seriously. That is why we, together with our partners, have been working diligently to expedite the delivery of 911 and E911 Services to our Genext Voice customers. Originally thought to be available by the end of the year; Genext Voice now offers access to 911 Services with the following limitations.
As you may have noticed on your invoice, the Regulatory Recovery Fee has been adjusted for the service plan that you subscribe to. This nominal increase is being used to help defray the cost of the 911 service that is now being provided. This charge is assessed to all customers regardless of where the service is being utilized.
Most of our customers have access to either basic 911 or Enhanced 911 (E911) Service. With E911 Service, when you dial 911, your telephone number and registered address is simultaneously sent to the local emergency center assigned to your location, and emergency operators are able to access the information needed to send help and call you back if necessary.
The ability to access emergency services by dialing 911 is a vital component of public safety and emergency preparedness.
