As the holiday season seems to start earlier and earlier each year, we seem to be left with little time to reflect on and appreciate all the things that we are most thankful for. It is not often enough that we get the time to acknowledge those who continue to support Genext and our business. We wanted to send our warmest wishes to you and yours this holiday season.

2007 Festival of Trees
The Holiday Season is fast approaching. That means family, friends and festival time! Don't miss out on one of the premier holiday events of the season, The Festival of Trees. The annual celebration is a wonderful family friendly activity bringing the community together in support of the performing arts.
Make sure to see the beautiful Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Wenatchee Center fountain on Thursday, November 15th. And the much anticipated Gala Dinner and Auction on Saturday the 17th.
This is the fourth year Genext has participated in the Festival of Trees, one of the many holiday contributions we provide the community each year. As you may be aware the migration to the new Genext network earlier this quarter had a series of issues that were beyond our control. Due to recent discoveries, our contracted engineers and Genext has scheduled a firmware update and patch to be performed with the direct assistance of the manufacturer this Thursday, November 15th at 11pm.
Between the hours of 11pm and 7am access to the genext.net website, Genext hosted customer websites and genext.net email will be sporadic; this is to be expected. Our expectation is that all services will be restored by 2am; however, we are reserving up until 7am for the scheduled maintenance window. Internet connections, TV and Voice Services WILL NOT be effected.
The new router is designed to be updated 'on-the-fly' and without interruption of services. We do NOT anticipate any interruptions of service as we install the required update. While we anticipate the actual window to be less than 1 hour we are affording ample time to mitigate any unforeseen issues that may arise.
Again, we DO NOT anticipate complications; however we will be prepared to address them if they arise. Please be assured that we are taking all steps to prevent any extended downtime or further complications.
